Mike & Cathy

A little bit about Mike and Cathy...

Mike and Cathy met through mutual friends eight years ago on a camping trip on Vancouver Island, he was wearing some really ugly brown shoes and she was wearing an ancient Canada cup hoodie. Without their knowledge they were being "set up". 

Well both were interested even with the poor fashion sense, but it was Cathy who broke the ice and invited Mike to come to the city and see a concert. Mike came to the concert and he and Cathy have been going to concerts and camping ever since. They now live in Port Moody with their furry friends Elsie, Bruce and Daphne.

A little bit about Jenn & Merril

Merrill and Jenn met on October 9, 2005 at the Eatery on Broadway in Vancouver. It was a set up by their mutual friend Jennifer Aucoin. There was a large group of people and Merrill sat directly across from Jenn but barely spoke to her the whole time. He ate over $100 of sushi and didn't offer her any. She thought he didn't like her and was a bit of a jerk. But he was smitten and was biding his time......

A week later he asked her to go for a drive. They ended up talking and driving all over the Lower Mainland until 2 am. The chemistry was electric. When he dropped her off he pulled a huge bouquet of flowers out of the trunk. And what a kiss. They've been inseparable ever since.

Jenn found out much later that the very first night they met, Merrill told Jennifer Aucoin on the way home from the Eatery that Jenn was the woman he was going to marry.
