High Paws
Kids Helping Animals 

High Paws is the BC SPCA Kids Club Hall of Fame for club members who are helping animals and making a difference in their communities.

 

Siblings, Sophie (12) and Liam (9) of West Vancouver saved their allowance and purchased dog and cat food, cat litter and peanut butter and Cheese Whiz to stuff shelter dog Kongs! That's an AWESOME idea! Way to go!
 Nicole and Nicole (!!) of West Vancouver handed out flyers in their neighbourhood, letting people know that they were collecting donations for the West Vancouver SPCA. Three days later, the two friends collected tons of goodies for the animals at the shelter including: towels; bedding; food; dishes; leashes; collars; and a $5 donation!

The Furry Friends (L to R: Nicole, Celeste, Gladys and Quinn) from Coquitlam set up an SPCA display at their local MarketPlace IGA at Westwood Plateau Village.  Anyone who donated to the BC SPCA was offered the choice of a candy or dog biscuit. In one afternoon, 
the quartet raised $200.42.
Thank you to MarketPlace IGA and Urban Barkery for donating the candies and dog biscuits!

Ali D, Will, Ali H, Bryce and Jack of Vancouver (Ali H, Ali D, and Madeline L pictured with Haley and Lassie) sold lemonade, fresh-baked cookies and banana bread in their neighbourhood and raised $38.58 for the BC SPCA.  The group also got together for Ali D's birthday and raised more than $300!

High Paws to Kids Club members who asked for donations to the BC SPCA instead of birthday presents for themselves!

Samantha M. of Quesnel asked her birthday guests to bring treats for the dogs and cats at her local SPCA shelter.

Helen C. (on the right pictured with friend Sophie and former SPCA dog, Dylan) raised $300 at her birthday.

Alannah P. (pictured with Maggie) and her guests raised $100!

 
Allison A. of West Vancouver raised $150!
